Desktop: Blank area on right of player

I have Windows 10 laptop and on Google Chrome, the player does not fully fit the width of the screen. The player only fills about 75% of the width of the screen width. and there is a blank area on the right. Is there a way to get the full width player back? 
I have a screenshot but no way to send it here

You can change the size of text, images, and videos for one web page or for all web pages.
