High CPU consumption running Pandora overnight

Thanks.  Have a second issue.    I listen in Chrome on Windows 10.  If I forget and don't stop the player and let it run overnight Chrome typically has high CPU consumption the next day, sometimes to the point of needing to do a hard powerdown of the laptop to recover.    This has been true for years.

@nottoday I moved your post over to the Desktop space since you are reporting a separate issue.

To clarify, are you only experiencing this issue with Pandora?

Have you tried streaming another website such as YouTube?

If not, please try launching YouTube and let me know if you experience similar issues there as well.

Thanks for your patience.

This only happens with Pandora.  Other items in Chrome including Youtube are ok.

@nottoday Thanks so much for providing that information.

I would recommend trying out these steps to refresh your Chrome browser.

Also, have you tried using the Pandora Desktop App for Windows 10?

If you're interested, you can find out more here.

Let us know how those steps work for you and whether that helps with the high consumption. 🎧
