This has been happening to me playing out of the website on my laptop rather than a mobile-device app. My browser and drivers are up to date. Was another solution ever found?

Can you tell me more about your experience when listening on your laptop:
Does this happen immediately when you start playing Pandora or intermittently between songs?
Do you have to restart your browser to get the sound to return?
