When I share a link, that music should go directly to the person I'm sharing with and also they shouldn't have to do anything or watch any ads. From there, once they are engaged in the content, ads and other things. The problem is that it is challenging to share pandora links because I dunno if the person has it or if they will hit a nag screen to install the app.
This is similar to dropbox...the user doesn't have to have it to download so long as I am on the program. So by this same notion, perhaps those with artists accounts could have the ability to direct share without interruption some of their works using specific links as a form of promotion.
Side note, as of 2024 spotify is allowing full playback of tracks within browser on my system.
