The first request comes from @superboy  with the song Enter Sandman by Metallica. The second request comes from the curator of GSOTD explicit only post, @Listener001, she has requested Daylight by Joji and Diplo. The last two will be from my own selection. All the bits of ‘Enter Sandman’ are derived from the main riff.

Japanese-Australian singer-songwriter: Daylight (clean) by Joji and Diplo.  https://pandora.app.link/erVQuF5p6eb   A snippet of the song accidentally leaked on July 15, 2020, after a user posted in a forum under the title “Alone.” On July 18, 2020, the song leaked in full. Its title was later confirmed to be “Daylight,” which was accompanied by an appearance from Diplo, by Shazam and YouTube ID system.

I didn't know you could use phone numbers for a title of a song but there was this band that i could recall that used I think like there studio coordinates or directions for the title of a song or album i'll say that's was pretty neat when i saw that i've got to go look for that song.(it's on my other pandora account that i had years ago and buried in probably about 1000 liked songs maybe someone here may know it) thank you for using a few of my songs @MOHLovesAlaska

@Listener001  welcome back, missed you last week. I was pretty busy myself. This is the earliest I posted in about two weeks or so. As far as titles of songs, I love how music artists come up with their titles. It is not only fascinating but unique as well. To be completely honest. 8675309 did not request for that song to be played, but when I had seen the user name 8675309, the song was the first thing I thought of. So I just figured, why not. And why not give them the credit, after all, had I not seen the number as their user name, I would not have thought of the song. Have a great Monday, and a great week as well. Take care and stay safe.

Folk: Send In The Clowns by Judy Collins.  Send In The Clowns   "Send In the Clowns" is a song written by Stephen Sondheim for the 1973 musical A Little Night Music, an adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's 1955 film Smiles of a Summer Night. It is a ballad from Act Two, in which the character Desirée reflects on the ironies and disappointments of her life. Among other things, she looks back on an affair years earlier with the lawyer Fredrik, who was deeply in love with her but whose marriage proposals she had rejected. Meeting him after so long, she realizes she is in love with him.

Classical Crossover/Opera: Nessun Dorma by Jackie Evancho.  Nessun Dorma   Nessun dorma. " Nessun Dorma " ( Italian: [nesˌsun ˈdɔrma]; English: " None shall sleep ") is an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot and one of the best-known tenor arias in all opera. It is sung by Calaf, il Principe Ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful... but cold Princess Turandot. Any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded. In the aria, Calaf expresses his triumphant assurance that he will win the princess.

Until some time tomorrow, take care and stay safe.

For GSOTD for this Wednesday, I chose two songs from @ShannonPandora's Challenge 12 playlist, 1) One Kiss by Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa. 2) 10,000 Hours by Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber. I also chose two songs from @AlyssaPandora's Challenge 12 playlist 1) Thing by Amerie. 2) Hour Drive (feat Sampha) by Alicia Keys. I will add the last song to conclude today's post. Enjoy the music.

Dance: One Kiss by Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa.  One Kiss   The song was released on April 6, 2018. It's Dua Lipa's first new release of the year while Harris dropped "Nuh Ready Nuh Ready" earlier in 2018.

Country: 10,000 Hours by Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber.  10,000 Hours (Single)    Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber were named the 2021 Grammy Awards winners in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance for '10,000 Hours' during the pre-Grammys ceremony. While the pop duo, Dan + Shay accepted their best country duo/group performance Grammy virtually, Bieber did not appear during the ceremony.

R&B/Funk/go-go/Pop: 1 Thing by Amerie.  1 Thing    "1 Thing" is a song written by American R&B singer and songwriter Amerie and Rich Harrison for Amerie's second studio album, Touch (2005).

Electronic/Soul/R&B: 3 Hour Drive (feat. Sampha) by Alicia Keys.  3 Hour Drive  Alicia is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys. It was primarily recorded at Oven Studios and Jungle City Studios, both in New York, from 2017 to 2019 and released by RCA Records on September 18, 2020. Written and produced largely by Keys, the album also features songwriting and production contributions from Swizz Beatz, Ludwig Göransson, Rob Knox, Ed Sheeran, and The Dream, among others.

Glam/Hard Rock: **ahem** On Feel The Noize by Quiet Riot.  **ahem** On Feel The Noize  Slade released "**ahem** On Feel the Noize" in February 1973 as their first single of the year. The song gave the band their fourth number one in the UK, and also they're first single to enter number one in its first week. This achievement had not been seen since The Beatles' "Get Back" in 1969. The song remained there for four consecutive weeks and sold 500,000 copies in its first three weeks of release.

Until some time tomorrow. Take care and stay safe.
