Recently legendary underground rapper and producer MF DOOM passed away and this is a playlist dedicated to his career in music. He began his career in the group KMD before going on to have a long and influential solo career as MF DOOM. He created projects under a number of other personas (Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah) that were just as interesting and unique. His most critically acclaimed (and some would say his best) work was the collaboration he did with Madlib called Madvillain. Check out their album Madvillainy - it's most definitely worth your time. Also worth checking out are the series of instrumental albums of his hip-hop production, Special Herbs (ex. Special Herbs Vol. 1 & 2), as well as the other collaborations he did with artists like Czarface, Danger Mouse, and the Avalanches.
