@Bozwa I moved your post over to this existing thread: Content disappears when Premium session ends

To clarify, it looks like your account is currently set up with Pandora Plus. The ability to collect music on demand (such as albums and singles) is only an option when upgrading to Pandora Premium.

I had our support team take a look at your account, and it appears you have been enabling free sessions of Pandora Premium by watching an ad.

This is what was allowing you to collect that on demand content.

When these free sessions of Pandora Premium end, your account reverts back to Pandora Plus, and you no longer have access to that on-demand content.

That would confirm why that content was no longer showing in your collection at the end of those Premium sessions.

For a complete explanation of how Pandora Premium sessions work, check out the accepted solution to this thread.

Hope this helps!

My thumbs up radio is no longer in my collection, I have to search for it. Also will only play a few songs off of that playlist before it goes to another collection. Is something wrong with my pandora or a glitch? It never used to do this prior.

@Wolverinebales Your Thumb ratings will exist within each individual station you have collected.

Check out the accepted solution to this thread for instructions on how to view your Thumb ratings within each station: How to edit thumb ratings

I too have a similar issue.  I subscribe to Pandora Plus and only listen on 2 different devices, my living room TV thru a Firestick, and my personal PC in my home office.  I just had the error message pop up and the TV in my living room is not even powered on.

In my case, I chose the "Thumbs Up" playlist and after a few songs I was notified that my trial premium subscription had expired.  That seems to be an entirely different issue as well.  When I tried to start the playlist again I then received the message that someone else was already listening.  I have no idea who that could be since I am the only one on my account.

Further, the Thumbs Up playlist is not even available from my living room anymore.  I have logged out of the acct on ALL (both) my devices and logged back in but no fix.

I just want this to work!  It used to work perfectly until recently.. sigh, this is frustrating.

While I do see you were previously upgraded to Pandora Premium, it looks like you ended up resubscribing to Pandora Plus instead after that subscription expired earlier this month.

I had our support team take a look at your account, and it appears you have been enabling free sessions of Pandora Premium by watching an ad.

This is what was allowing you to access your My Thumbs Up playlist.

If you'd like to upgrade to Pandora Premium instead, you can do so here.

Someone else is listening message:

Your Pandora account can be used on as many devices as you like, they just cannot be playing at the same time. As long as you press pause on one device before you listen to Pandora on another, you should be fine.

It sounds like that simultaneous streams warning was tripped on accident, which may happen from time to time when switching from one device to another. If that's what happened, you can go ahead and disregard that message.

Hope this helps!

Hi Adam,

I don't think you understand.  My playlist isn't disappearing.  I can still access it whenever I want to.  The issue is I can only listen to 5 or 6 songs before it stops playing my Thumbs Up playlist and goes to My Collection.  Nothing disappears. I want to listen to my Thumbs Up playlist without it cutting off after a certain number of songs

@Jenjea That is because the ability to listen to playlists is only an option with Pandora Premium.

It looks like these advertisements are getting triggered when you attempt to stream on demand content.

Since the ability to stream content on demand is only an option with Pandora Premium, you will first need to watch an ad in order to do so with your Pandora Plus subscription.

At the end of the Premium session, your account reverts back to your regular service, which would explain why you are unable to make it through a full playlist before getting sent back to your regular collection.

For a complete explanation, check out the accepted solution to this thread.

Hello,

I am new to Pandora, I've searched for an answer to this problem but couldn't find one.

Last night I created a playlist and added some songs to it but today I can't find the playlist, in fact there are no options for a playlist anywhere. The option is even missing from the three dot right click menu (not sure what that's called) each song has which I used last night to add songs to my playlist.

Solved

Interesting how this works. When I first signed up, I was permitted to make a playlist. But the next day it was gone, with all the options to create a playlist gone too. I see now this was bait to go premium, I signed up for the three-month trial and voilà, my missing playlist reappeared and the option is now available again.

Very sneaky.

That is correct - the ability to create custom playlists is only an option with a Pandora Premium subscription.

I do see that you were able to successfully upgrade to Pandora Premium, so you should now be good to go.

Check out the Pandora Subscriptions FAQ for more information on the benefits each of our services provide.

Hello,

I can't view any of my albums in My Collection. The only option is a-z stations. However, if I add a new album, the Album dropdown appears and I can make the selection but it is gone the next time I sign in.

I have Pandora Plus.
