so i used pandora in free mode off and on since 2011 --- and recently subscribed.
there are probably a hundred 'Radio' stations littering the account now, every time i start something by Artist name, it turns into a Radio Station
i have 'tuned' a number of these stations with thuumbs up/down, explore and occasionally by manually adding variety.
MY PROBLEM is that since i subscribed (not before) every time i try to start my station called "Holly Golightly Radio" --- it insists on playing Holiday music. True, the first song is always a Holly Golightly, but it's a gottdam christmas station
Renaming the station to "Golightly Radio" hasn't helped.
I'm using a google home screen for this, and the Pandora interface **ahem**. "Show me my Pandora Stations" appears to produce a list of pandora station, whuch are fairly tuned to my overall bulk of thumbs up/down, but they are NOT the named stations i've tuned.
Commonly played stations for me are:
Holly Golightly Radio
Gangstagrass Radio (this has ended up with a lot of Johnny Cash in via tuning)
Depeche Mode Radio
Peaches Radio (which has accumulated a goodly bit of Lords of Acid)
As you can imagine these are all pretty different sets, and since actually, finally paying money for this service, I've lost the ability to specify which Station/genre i want to play
What's up with that?
edit to add: Same problem with Peaches Radio ---- once subscribed, every time i try to play it, i get a kids music (which Peaches is *not*) ---- I remamed the station to "Peaches Boom Boom" but still can't address it by name via the Google Hom
