• Was the whole song sped up? Or were there some sections of the songs that were sped up?
• Have you experienced this with other songs?
• Did the song ended and then kept buffering instead of going to a new song after the speeding up?
• Did the song suddenly cut off and the music stopped?

Yes this is the version you played. It is from a compilation album. All the songs are sped up. Play the song from the original LP or single and it will be the right speed.
