My classical composer stations play little if any of the composer's music

I've got about 100 Pandora stations in a free account and love them. Thank you. But I've gradually noticed that my. key classical composer stations — such as Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms, for example, play all kinds of music by other, much later composers (such as Satie, Debussy, and Ennio Morricone) that I like fine but which in my opinion have almost nothing to do with Bach, Beethoven, or Brahms even in style or mood, let alone actually BEING music by them — which is of course what I wanted and why I set up the stations. By contrast, when I set up a station for Hammock, for example (the ambient post-rock. band), I immediately get lots and lots of true Hammock, and then Max Richter, Tony Anderson, M83, etc. What's happening here, please? I love my Pandora music, but I sure would like some clear, plain, accurate classical music once in a while. Thank you — George

@gsimonson I understand that it's frustrating not to hear the artist that you've seeded a station with, but at this time, listeners have limited control over when or how often particular artists or songs will play on Pandora stations.

That said, you should be able to use Pandora Modes to customize your station experience when you're listening on our website or your mobile device. You can pick different modes like Artist Only, which will play only tracks from the artist headlining your station (unless you've added variety to your station, in which case it will play tracks from those artists as well).

Please keep in mind that Artist Only mode will only exist on relevant stations.

Hope this is helpful. Thanks for being a part of the community!

Thank you, Adam. I tried to hit "Accept as Solution," but it didn't work. Yes, I noticed the Artist Only mode here and there and was surprised not to find it on my Beethoven station. But there you have it. Thanks again — George (Harpswell, Maine)
