Thumbs count is inaccurate in Profile

Hello

 

I have been using Pandora for a decade or so, and had at least 1000 Thumbs Up tracks saved in my profile, but now there are only 300 recent tracks saved. Is there anyway to recover the history of Thumbs Up? I've never had a problem before, though I did recently try Pandora's 30-day free trial, maybe when it expired all the tracks that were saved before the trial started disappeared?

There were 800 songs in the Thumbs Up list in my profile, and now there are 0. How can I restore them?

I've been pressing thumbs up for awhile using my pandora phone app and browser on the laptop. I checked the thumbs up page and it only has 92 on the browser. I know I Liked over 200+ songs but they're missing.

The pandora app on my android says 92 on my profile but 800+ when I view my thumbs up page.

We recently made a change to limit the number of thumbs displayed in your Profile from the web and mobile devices so the Thumbs up count may not match the total number on your account.

If you'd like to review your Thumbs in greater detail, you can find them in each stations backstage page or in your My Thumbs Up Playlist.

In the meantime, I've passed along your feedback.

Even though my Thumbs Up says it has 398 tracks it only displays about 25. PC, Win 10, website. The tracks show up on my Android phone app.

@Rcbtt-22 To clarify, are you referring to the tracks in your My Thumbs Up playlist, or the tracks showing in your profile?

Can you please send me a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Hi there my Thumbed up collection Is only showing 9 songs on my profile when clicking Into It It then shows only 30 songs when I have hundreds of thumbed up songs. Need to find a way to get back the list of my full thumbed up History. Thank you

When I go to my station it shows over 5000 thumbs up and over 5000 thumbs
down. These figures are the correct ones.

When I go to my profile it says exactly 800 thumbs up. This figure is
mistaken, and given the exact round figure, I suspect it may be a system
imposed cap.

Can you please ask a developer to look into the difference between those
figures? I suspect that is where the bug lies.

Are you going to help us any further on this issue? You are quick to reply when asking for screenshots but you've given us nothing else.

What is the status on this issue?

The App shows I have 1046 thumbs and the website here is showing 800 on my profile.

I've started tagging Pandora on their posts in Facebook and Instagram, asking if this issue will be resolved and no one has yet to respond.

It's apparent that Pandora has no intention of correcting this issue.

My subscription is up in June. Maybe we should all start asking for refunds?

The previous thread you were commenting on addresses the issue where a track that was previously thumbed, no longer shows the thumb rating highlighted when it plays again.

In your previous reports, I know you were experiencing that issue also, so rest assured that feedback has been added to the ticket our engineers are looking into.

What you reported in this new message is actually related to a separate issue other users are reporting on this thread.

Just recovered my Pandora account and I have 8824 Thumbs is there a quick way to get them all into one playlist? or do i have to manually add all 8000 songs?

@Amarosh Nice to see you around the Community.

I went ahead and restored your Thumbs Up playlist for you.

This playlist should contain all tracks you've thumbed up across your collected stations - as you continue to thumb up new tracks, they will automatically get added to this playlist.

This being said, I'm showing your playlist currently only has a few tracks on it:

To clarify, did you delete the tracks off of this playlist in the past?

Also, you mentioned you have 8824 Thumbs - can you please send me a screenshot of where you're seeing that number?

to be honest I'm not sure if I did or not it's been years since I've been on my Pandora account on my pc it doesn't show them but on my phone, it still shows all my thumbs here's a screenshot.338661073_2697615080381626_7111553982710594483_n.jpg of that

This would explain why all of your thumbed up tracks only display in your profile after tapping on THUMBS.

In regards to your original question of being able to get all of your thumbed up tracks into one playlist, there unfortunately isn't a way to restore your playlist back to its original state before the tracks were deleted from it.

You will need to add each track you want in that playlist manually to it.

Additionally, as you continue to thumb up new tracks across your collected stations, those will automatically get added to the playlist.
