Amazon Echo: Trouble playing songs

BotheGoodBarber

I'm having trouble listening to my collected songs in Pandora on my Amazon Echo device. This used to work fine and then about 2 months ago, I started having problems. I've unplugged my device, removed and reinstalled Pandora/unlinked & linked Pandora again. I can't figure out how to resolve the issue and it is quite frustrating. Any tips besides what you've ready shared?

Just to add - I have also verified there are no pending updates.

Hi @BotheGoodBarber

Welcome to community!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Amazon Echo. Sounds like you've gone through some troubleshooting already. I'm happy to pass along your experience to our engineering team.

Could you tell me a little more about what is happening?

  • Does Alexa acknowledge the request, but then nothing plays?
  • Or, does it not respond at all?
  • Does it play, but plays the wrong song?

Please include the exact voice command that you're using and if Pandora is selected as your primary music service?

Thanks for the help!

Thank you; Yes, Pamdora is set as our primary music app for not just my
individual profile in the app, but for the family profile too.
I'll say, "Alexa, play my collected songs in Pandora" but she will answer
some variation of, "I'm not able to right now."
It is very frustrating because I've built quite the collection of songs in
Pandora and also because I know this used to work flawlessly.
