Dish TV - No sound

I'm having the same problem on my Visio tv with Dish tv. Yesterday it worked...todayy, no sound.

Hi @derby1! Thanks for posting to community. 

I've enabled a trace on your account to help investigate and I'd like to start with some troubleshooting. 

First make sure your device has the latest firmware by checking for a new update. If an update is available, try loading Pandora again once the update is complete.

If you're still having the same problem, then please try a few standard network troubleshooting steps:

  • Try connecting directly via an Ethernet cable rather than using Wi-Fi (if you have this option on your device), and see if that helps.
  • Try power cycling your modem and router and restarting the device. Turn of your DishTV box, unplug your modem/router for five minutes, then plug them back in and try again.
  • Lastly, try removing and re-adding the app (if this is possible on your device).

You can also contact the manufacturer directly to troubleshoot your specific device and settings.

I only can listen to one song on my Samsung TV through the Dish App.  What can I do?

I've enabled a trace to help investigate. It looks like you may have tried some troubleshooting before reaching out. Can you let me know what steps you have taken?

Can you also confirm if your DishTV is connected by Ethernet or WiFi?
