Onkyo Devices: Pandora no longer connects to receiver

My Onkyo receiver has stopped connecting with Pandora internet radio.  I connected the receiver with a cable to my router and it still will not connect.  The error message is “The server connection could not be established “.

I have an Okyo TX-NR626 and it has the same problem as everyone else -- it no longer connects to Pandora. I've troubleshooted the network connection and it's fine. All the other streaming music apps on the receiver work great. It's just Pandora. Sadly the Onkyo firmware doesn't have a way to reset its own settings or I'd just do that. Could you kindly disassociate the device from my account so I can through the setup process again?

Hi @julie78787!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble.

I've removed your Onkyo device from your Pandora account. When this takes affect, it will automatically log you out. I would give it a bit of time just to be sure. I'd also recommend power cycling your Onkyo by unplugging it for at least 5 minutes.

Let me know if you're still having trouble after logging back in.

Hi @Braunagel

Welcome to community!

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to remove a single device from your Pandora account, but you can remove all devices using the following steps:

  • From a web browser, go to pandora.com and log in to your account.
  • Then click your Profile in the top right corner of the page and select Settings.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Log out of all other devices.
  • Enter your password and press Log Out.
  • If you’ve signed into someone else’s computer, be sure to sign out of your Pandora account once you’re finished.

In the meantime, I've gone ahead and removed your Onkyo device connection from my end. This should log you out when it takes affect, I would give it at least an hour. Then you can try to log back in. If you're still having trouble, I suggest power cycling your Onkyo by unplugging it for at least 5 minutes. Then try once more.
