Roku: Beginning of songs mangled

Frequently, and especially when I have one of my playlists on shuffle, the song doesn't start at the very beginning; it distorts and starts a second or two or three into the song. This happens whether I'm listening on my laptop, through Roku, or whatever device I'm using.
