Ad Feedback - Political Ads

Completely agree that Pandora should not be giving Mike Lindell a platform. Very disappointed in Pandora After using this service for over 10 years I'm thinking about stopping my support.

@jennyfuur8 Perhaps the best place to start is to tell you that, like virtually all media outlets, the advertising content on Pandora does not represent an endorsement of any kind on our part. We realize the prominent placement of many of our ads may give the impression that Pandora somehow endorses the product, issue, candidate, etc. but we do not.

We recognize that certain material is sensitive ground, so we do our best to preserve the listening experience. All of our ads are thoughtfully vetted by folks across various teams at Pandora, to ensure they are free from speech or content that is hateful, illegal, false, misleading, fraudulent, inaccurate or unfair. While we respect the perspective of each individual, and while there are occasional judgment calls still required, we feel strongly that our advertising platform should not be in the business of censoring.

You might also consider upgrading to Pandora Plus or Pandora Premium. These are our advertising-free subscriptions, which also offer a number of other benefits you might find attractive.

For instance, Pandora Plus includes unlimited skips, replays, and offline listening, while Pandora Premium boasts all of these features as well as a curated, on-demand library.

Of course, we're happy to have folks listen, whether they are paid or free.

Thanks for listening to Pandora, and thanks again for taking the time to write us - it means a lot that you care enough to speak up. :pandora:

My complaint with Pandora is about who is allowed to advertise. The “My PillowGuy”, Mike Lindell advertises his pillow products and Pandora has no problem accepting the money collected from him. The problem I have with Pandora is that in doing so, Pandora is supporting a seditious traitor to this country as he continues to perpetuate the big lie that Trump really won the last presidency. Any advertiser needs to be vetted. Maybe he could sell his pillows on a street corner and pedal his lies there.

Lindell needs to be removed. I’m tired of listening to the ad. Don’t mind other ads but I find this one offensive.

You other commenters are being very tolerant of Pandora's support of sedition, despite your criticism. I uninstalled Pandora from all my devices the first day I heard the MyPillow ads. Sorry Pandora, zero tolerance here for trying to overturn elections. I will never spend a penny on any product associated with Sirius or Pandora...EVER. Lifetime vow.

And Pandora, don't give me this "we don't endorse the views of our advertisers" wishy-washy claptrap. You either cooperate with people attempting to overthrow democracy, or you don't. It's that simple.

I really like Pandora and realize they need the money they get from their advertisers, however I think the decision makers at Pandora could find advertisers that are not as annoying as the My Pillow guy. This is not a political statement - every time I here "Like all of you I had trouble sleeping...." it makes me so disgusted. Do we ALL have trouble sleeping - no. His voice is grating and his message is beyond irritating. Please find advertising dollars from someone the listeners might actually buy from.

I am highly offended that Pandora allows Mike Lindell on the website. I don’t mind ads, but I despise his. He is extremely offensive, just by what he represents. He is disgusting, as well as being a proven liar, and Pandora is condoning this by doing business with him. I plan to move to another venue, if this continues. I know it’s just the money, but still, it’s pathetic that Pandora will stoop that low for a buck.

Not turning Pandora back on until MyPillow guy is GONE! The man is a traitor to this country and Pandora should not be supporting his platform.

How do I not hear ads from the traitor "My Pillow" guy?

I'll not be listening to music on Pandora, including all their ads, so long as they provide a platform for a seditious traitor to raise funds. This isn't asking Pandora to make a political decision. Lindell is a criminal by any objective standard.

I personally can't stand the agenda being forced into my ears through my music. I either get an earful about BLM, LGBTLMNOPXYZ, or political garbage. I don't mind the ads for products and things trying to be sold because that's just business. But these are opinions. A business shouldn't be forcing it's views on their customers.

It should be removed. Period.
I pay for Premium & catch my wife listening to content with ads.  If I hear it again I am cancelled my subscription for other vendors.

As a company, you could make the right decision not to accept money from liars, crooks, or seditious traitors to our country.  That's not really so hard, is it?

Does anyone know if it possible to block all of the "Biden" Ads on Pandora? Specifically the dancing one that pops up along the side, I prefer to avoid such ads, especially if he is involved.

I love Pandora and yet every time I'm listening and a commercial comes on it's often Mike Lindell the "Pillow Guy" and a Qanon conspiracy theorist. Pandora, you don't need a decisive figure advertising on your site, you are already fantastic.

Thank you for allowing me to verbalize my concern.

Many businesses have broken ties with Mike Lindell after thousands of customer’s  complaints and signed petitions.. If retailers like Costco and Bed Bath & Beyond can stop selling My Pillow, then Pandora can certainly stop the Ads. Pandora misses the point when suggesting listeners upgrade to remove adverts. Just STOP.
