Ad feedback - Song cut off by commercial

I didn't know where to post this, nor could I find contact info for Pandora, but in all the years I've been using Pandora today a song was cut off by a commercial. I'm fine with the commercials, in between songs, but I couldn't believe it cut off a song completely and the song never came back on. Granted, it was a Grateful Dead jam in "Not Fade Away", but still. Is it standard practice to run ads after a certain time frame, regardless of what's playing? Or was this an error? Or what?

@oneisaac To clarify, is it the same Gatorade commercial that continues to play in the middle of songs for you?

If so, the next time it happens can you please send me:

• a screenshot of the ad
• the date and time that ad played on your account
• the name of the station or podcast you were listening to when that Spanish ad played
