Android: Albums don't play after watching ad

There seems to be issues with a paid account allowing interruptions in music service while data is on. Complete stopping of songs where the play button is unaffected. Weird.

@mitmatt202420 I moved your post over to the Android space since it sounds like you are only experiencing this issue on that device.

I've enabled a trace on your account to help us better understand what's happening.

For this trace to be useful, we'll need you to run through our troubleshooting steps once more: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

If you are still unable to play an album after the ad plays to initiate your Premium Access session, please reply back to this thread and let us know.

Thanks for working with us on this. 🤝

@mitmatt202420 Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening? Are you listening to Pandora on a computer or on a device?

  1. If you are on a computer, are you listening from:
    • A Mac or Windows computer?
    • Our website, or the desktop app? If you're listening from our website, what browser are you using?
  2. If you are on a device, what is the make and model (and carrier, if applicable)?
  3. Is there an error message? If so, what does it say?
  4. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

Reset cache and data in app. Used password tonlog back in. Clicking on any album does nothing. Stations work, but individual albums do not.

Using same device for months. older lg k20 plus/ metropcs. Never had a problem till recently. Changed password, uninstalled/reinstalled app, the usual process everyone is told to do. Its either an update to the app that is the issue or technical issues with the Pandora servers.

Pandora plus will not play any albums. Before I would watch a 15 second video (which I didn't mind) but now its just not doing anything. If this is an attempt to force plus members to upgrade to premium well then thats shady.
