Family plan, one member no longer subscribed

I have the Family plan. I invited my brother, and he has successfully been using the family subscription for two months. But a few days ago, he now is getting commercials, received a notice that his "subscription" expired, and now sees an "Upgrade" button. Both with a web browser and the iPhone app. I checked the status in Manage Family, and he shows up as Active.

What the heck happened?

@jaybpl Is it possible he is signed into the wrong account?

Have him try signing out of Pandora on both his computer and phone, and sign back in using the email address associated with the account you've added to your Premium Family Plan.
