Why Does My Annual Membership Say 30-Day Trial?

I just paid for an annual Pandora membership.  Although-my receipt indicates it's a Trial Membership-due to expire in 30 days?? I don't understand this?

I took a look at your Pandora account associated with your Pandora Community profile and can confirm that you signed up for an annual subscription to Pandora Plus. Since you haven't previously tried Pandora Plus, your subscription started with a 30-day free trial.

The message on your receipt is letting you know when that trial period will end. Once the trial ends, your subscription will automatically transition to the annual Pandora Plus subscription you selected, and you'll be billed for the annual subscription at that time.

If you decide you don't want to continue with the subscription, you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
