I have always in the past had access to full albums. When did this change occur that I obviously missed?
So irritated as you want to move me (and others) to Premium without any notice (whenever this change in my music listening occurred)
Moderator's edit: Changed title for clarity
Hi @Rief, thanks for posting!
I'm sorry for the trouble listening to full albums and sorry for any confusion.
I checked the account linked to your Pandora Profile and it looks like you are currently on a Plus subscription, however, before this you used to have a Premium subscription, which is why you could listen to full albums before and now you are required to start a Premium Session to listen to the albums.
I'll be happy to explain this a bit further, but there a couple points I would like to touch here so we can clear any confusion up, so bear with me a bit.
So first, it looks like on September 2025 your regular Pandora Premium subscription failed to renew automatically, so it expired. After that on October 2025 your account was upgraded to Pandora Plus, instead of Pandora Premium.
The main difference with Plus and Premium is that Premium allows the option to listen on demand (including albums) while Plus doesn't.
You can find the detailed benefits and features of Pandora Plus and Pandora Premium on the accepted solution of our Pandora Subscriptions FAQ post.
So, since you are currently on the Plus plan, you need to start a complimentary Pandora Premium session so you are able to listen to any album; which leads me to the second point I would like to touch.
A complimentary Pandora Premium session allows you to interact with an ad to access on-demand content at no cost. If you decide to view the ad and accept a Premium session, there will be no extra charges, and your account will be returned to the Plus service once the Premium session ends.
Unfortunately, some albums are longer than a Premium session, which may cause an interruption before the album ends.
To learn more about Premium and these complimentary sessions please visit our Help page.
If you'd like to get back to listen to the full albums as you used to, you'd need to get your Premium subscription back. Please note that since you've already been billed for Plus this month, you'll be charged a prorated amount for the first month of the new subscription. That way you still receive credit for the unused portion of your Plus subscription.

I hope this is helpful.
