Yesterday my Pandora worked fine on my Apple Watch 5. Today the app is gone and will not download on the watch. I pay a subscription monthly to have the access on my watch. What is going on??
Thanks for sharing these details with us @Ckris !
With a recent update, Pandora on Apple Watch now requires a minimum of watchOS 11. Since your Apple Watch is running an earlier version of watchOS, this is likely why you're having trouble installing the Pandora app.
I recommend checking to see if an update to watchOS 11 or later is available for your Apple Watch. If so, please update your watch and then try installing Pandora again.
If your Apple Watch isn't able to update to watchOS 11 or later, then unfortunately, the Pandora app won't be compatible with your device.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
I'm having the same issue.
Hello @Mablack30 , @Ckris . Welcome to the Pandora community !
Sorry to hear about the trouble you both have experienced with tha app disappearing from your Apple watch.
Can you tell me more about this and about your devices? Please provide both your iOS and Pandora app versions:
Also please let me know if you are able to see Pandora from the Watch app on your iPhone? To check this:
If you see it there please check that the Show App on Apple Watch toggle is turned on. If it is not there please try turning it on.
However, if you can't see Pandora on the Watch app on your phone, please try these steps to download the Pandora app again onto your watch:
Or you can install the app directly from your Apple watch using these steps:
Let me know how it goes.
Phone iOS 26.6
watchOS 10.6.2
Pandora app version: 2607.2
I am not able to see Pandora anywhere in the Watch app on my phone, so I can’t install it there.
I tried directly installing it on my watch. I found it in the app store on my watch, it shows the cloud icon to download it, but after clicking that I get an error: Unable to complete request Try again later.
I also uninstalled the Pandora app on my phone and reinstalled it, but the Pandora app is still not listed in my Watch app.

So you just deleted the app for anybody that has an Apple watch 5 or earlier, with no way to get it back? Roughly 8-15% of Apple Watch users are capped at WatchOS 10, and now they can't use their paid Pandora subscription anymore.
Apple released series 6 in 2020, and you could continue to buy 5 for a while after. Are there plans to add back support for people who purchased their watches just a couple years ago? Or is the recommendation to cancel your subscription and sign up for Spotify, which still supports the device?
Agree with @parris this is exceptionally poor customer service. Please go back to the product managers and developers and say that this is unacceptable. It's a music streaming app, not rocket science.
I have an Apple Watch SE. The same problem just happened to me last week. Pandora is about to lose a lot of customers because we all pay for the service to use on our Apple watches and because of your change, you’re now excluding around 15% of Apple Watch users. That’s going to be a lot of people canceling Pandora. Clearly, this was not a wise business decision and the perfect example of poor customer service. Unfortunately, if we’re not advised that a resolution is coming within the next two weeks, I will be canceling my service.
I will be canceling my paid subscription within two weeks if we don’t learn that they’re going to fix this issue. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially when there are other companies like Spotify that we can turn to. I’m also going to post something on Instagram and Facebook so other Apple Watch users like me don’t spend almost 3 hours trying to figure out why I couldn’t find the app on my watch.
