Playing Pandora in background

Since updating to iOS 27, I can only use Pandora as a stand alone on my phone. My IPad will still allow Pandora music while using other apps. I restarted my phone, no change.

• Does Pandora stop playing immediately after you leave the Pandora app or only when you switch to another app?

• Does this happen with every app you open, or only certain apps?

• If it only happens with certain apps, which ones have you noticed it with?

Keep in mind that if another app begins playing audio, video, sound effects, or other tones, iOS may pause Pandora to allow that app to use the device’s audio. Pandora doesn’t have control over how another app requests or uses audio.

Since you mentioned your iPad continues to play Pandora normally while using other apps, these details will help us narrow down what may be happening specifically on your iPhone.
