I’ve looked through all of the advice and nothing is helping me download music on my iPhone. I have 1. Restarted my phone 2. Deleted Pandora and then redownloaded it 3. Confirmed I’m not running out of storage space 4. Tried steps 1-3 more than 5 times in a row.
I do not get any error messages but see sometimes that a few songs will download very slowly when Pandora is the only app open on my phone but then it will stop. If I wait, nothing more downloads. I’ll then stop the download and restart the download and nothing happens. Pandora pretends that the song/album was downloaded but nothing is there. I’m very frustrated with this, can you please help me?
1. Verizon is my cell carrier
2. iOS version is 26.2.1
3. Pandora version 2601.1
I’m on WiFi when attempting downloading.
I have 107.74 GB available.
The only pattern I’ve noticed is if I switch to a new album to download, the probability is higher that a portion of it may download before it stalls. It will download maybe 4-6 songs rapidly then stop abruptly.
It seems to download what it wants to and then ignores everything else. I watched an album of 12 songs get stuck at 4 for about 10 minutes and then fast-forward to 8 in a few seconds and then stall another few minutes before finally finishing. Then everything else pauses like a playlist that’s 80 songs - 6 songs at 8:03pm, then 42 songs at 8:15pm and 43 at 8:16 when I switch away from Pandora and then go back in.
8:26 still only 43 songs downloaded out of 60 not 80.
8:59pm still at 50/60 songs. I went out and then back and magically it started downloading again and finished. It shouldn’t be this hard.
And I have noticed that it looks like it will let me download albums and playlists quickly that I used to have downloaded months ago before I gave up my premium subscription and everything after that is either not downloading at all or so temperamental it’s giving me a headache.

Hi, @Slaterson. 👋
Thank you for providing such detailed information around the troubleshooting you’ve run through. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your offline tunes.
Please make sure to keep Pandora in the foreground of your device while the download completes in addition to being connected to a power source.
In the meantime, we’ve enabled a trace on your Pandora account to better understand what’s happening during the download process.
Let us know.
