iOS: Won’t play new channels

Alittrell9

When I search for a new channel it won’t let me hit the play button. It vibrates in my hand like I’ve clicked it but nothing happens. The only channels or songs I can play are the ones listed in my collection. I already tried uninstalling and re-installing

@Alittrell9 I've enabled a trace on your account to help us better understand what's happening.

For this trace to be useful, we'll need you to run through our troubleshooting steps once more: Troubleshooting for iOS Devices

Let me know how it goes.

It is still doing the same thing. If I search a song it won’t let me play it. Only the channels I have saved in My collection

@Alittrell9 Since you are currently upgraded to Pandora Plus, you should get prompted to watch an ad prior to streaming a song on demand.

Could you tell me a bit more about what is happening?

  1. To clarify, is there an error message when you tap on the play button? If so, what does it say?
  2. Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Thanks for working with me on this. 🤝

There is no error message. I click the button and you can see it has been pushed because the color changes of the play button, then the phone will do a 1 pulse vibrate but then nothing else happens.

Hey there, @Alittrell9. 👋

Sorry for the continued trouble.

I would like to report this issue to our engineers. Could you tell me more about your device and experience?

  • Device & Generation: (e.g. iPhone X, iPad Air (3rd gen), etc.)
  • Carrier:
  • iOS version: (Settings > General > About > Version)
  • Pandora version: (Pandora > Profile tab > Settings gear & scroll to the bottom of the screen)
  • Are you connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data when this is happening?
  • Which station(s) have you noticed this issue with?

Thanks for your help with this. 🎧
