Obviously Pandora ver 2408.1.1 and Apple ios-18 CarPlay are having compatibility issues. So, the next question is how long is this going to take to get fixed. Weeks, Months, maybe never... I started a Spotify free subscription (testing it out) and have an Amazon Music subscription, both work with Apple ios-18 CarPlay.  Who wants to pay money for something that's broken. There is another 3 Threads that has over 100 replies about this same issue.  Pandora did an App Update (ver 2408.1 to 2408.1.1) and still the exact same problem. I guess they have to have a meeting to approve a budget to FIX the issues... could take months/years. ... View more

OK... 2020 Honda Passport - iPhone 12 ios-18 - Pandora ver# 2408.1.1 Start car, plug in iPhone, (last station played starts to play) unlock iPhone, Recent Tab "Loading""Loading""Loading", change tab to My Collections, select My Stations and shows them... select station-1 (It plays and highlights), select station-2 (It plays and highlights), select station-3 (It plays and highlights)... it never goes/show the artist/song unless I hit the triangle icon in the upper corner and if I hit station-3 multiple times the music changes to station-1, station-2, station-3, 1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3... but never highlights them... station-3 is always highlighted (Sometimes "Can't load content" pops up)... Most of the time I don't know what station i'm on. when i first start CarPlay "Recent" won't load until i go to "My Collection" and then back to "Recent". Also, when i go to "My Collection" "Stations" and select a few of them, It won't let me select the first station on the list to go back to... i can select other stations but not the first one. Losing confidence in Pandoras ability to resolve the compatibility issues with Apple ios-18 CarPlay. Started looking at other services.  Moderator Edit: Merged posts ... View more

OK... I cooled down and went to the car , plugged in my updated iphone (ios-18) and carplay loaded and started Pandora (2408.1.1) with the exact same issues as Pandora 2408.1... looking to downgrade to ios-17, anybody that has done it please post results.  read other peoples post on other music streaming services and they are not having issues with Carplay and ios-18.  I have 2 Pandora accounts I pay ($$$) for and have had them for 10+ years... might be time for a change ... I did the update 2408.1.1 and it made it WORSE... now i get 1 station and can't change it at all. The icon in the upper corner that lets you see the station playing is gone. ... View more

I have 3 iphone 12 mini's (wife's and 2 mine) I updated both of mine to ios 18 and having compatibility issues... my wife's iphone is ios 17 (no update) and works flawlessly. I also have a iphone SE V3 updated to ios 18 and it has Carplay compatibility issues. I also have an iphone 11 pro max (Too big for traveling, so we use it IN-house music only)  updated to ios 18 and it has Carplay compatibility issues.  So, I tried my old iphone 6S+ ios ver.15.8.3... Pandora ver.2408.1 and it works flawlessly. I am starting to believe Apple might be more to blame for compatibility issues between Pandora and ios 18 Carplay.  ... View more

This did NOT work completely, Goto; Settings>Screen Time>Content & Privacy Restrictions>Allowed Apps & Features... Make sure the Carplay switch is GREEN. Might work/help for some, did NOT work for me... Pandora needs to FIX. Looking at DOWNGRADING to ios 17... Anybody try this? How did it go?? Any suggestions??? you can use your iphone to change stations instead of using the carplay interface (trouble loading content)... I don't understand how Pandora dropped the ball since ios 18 beta was available to do testing and tweaking. This is a Black eye for Pandora. ... View more

This is what you get for BRAGGING about how good Pandora is... I tried Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, etc, etc... going to try the other services again... I bet they work. probably take them months/years  to fix it. They should give refunds to users. ... View more
