I also appreciate all the details very helpful.  Based on your description, Pandora loads on your Samsung, you're able to navigate around the app but then it crashes when music begins to play. Is that correct? Does the crash happen for both stations and on-demand content, like a playlist or album?    For your vehicle, are you connecting with your phone and then using Android Auto or PandoraLink app?
