Good Monday evening, dear friend. I know I posted a joke earlier, but I just heard this one, and I knew this would be the perfect place to share it. Enjoy a good laugh. An elderly couple is getting ready for bed one night. The wife says, “Oh, dear, I could really go for some ice cream.” Her husband says, “Alright, I’ll get it for you.” She brightens up. “Really? You’re a dear. I want vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.” “Okay,” he says. “Please write it down — you’ll forget.” “I won’t forget,” he insists. “Alright… and I also want whipped cream on top, with a cherry.” “Got it.” “Please write it down, dear, you’ll forget.” He sighs. “I won’t forget. You want vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry on top.” Off he goes. By the time he gets back, she’s already in bed. He hands her the bag. She opens it… and inside is a ham sandwich. She looks at him and says, “I told you to write it down — you forgot the mayo.” Have a blessed night. Take care, and GOD bless.
