Setting the Roku screensaver to come on after 5 or 10 minutes isn't a great solution. Its effectiveness depends on the length of the first song played. When the 1st played was less than 5 minutes long (was a 4 minute song), it worked because the Pandora screensaver came on during the second song, but before the five minutes ran out on the Roku screensaver timer. Music continued playing for the remainder of the 2nd song and into the 3rd song, 4th song, etc. while only using the Pandora screensaver. When I tried the Pandora app again, another time, the 1st song that I played was 5 minutes and 20 seconds long. This time, the Roku screensaver came on during the 1st song that was playing, and the song stopped playing at the 5 minutes and 1 second mark (5:01). So until Pandora Support fixes the Pandora app, the only good temporary solution is to add the Pandora Beta app to the Roku channel list using the instructions previously listed in this post.  ⁣ ... Log in to your Roku account online and add Channel Access Code: PandoraBeta    This will add Pandora Beta to your list on your Roku device. Open Pandora Beta and log in to your Pandora account. The Roku Screensaver can be left enabled and it won't interfere with the music playing on your Pandora Beta app. The Pandora floating album background screensaver works too. No problem 😁 Yes. Hopefully, they will fix the App. I played around with the app, and I went into the settings for the roku screensaver and extended the time to 5 minutes instead of one minute. The Pandora background album cover screensaver does, in fact, come on, but once the 5 minutes ended, the roku screensaver comes on over top of the Pandora screensaver...  basically overrides it, and then eventually, the music stops playing. ⁣ ... Yes, when I went back to my Roku, the Pandora Beta app appeared at the home screen. I re-enabled the Roku Screensaver and set it to come after 1 minute. Logged into the Pandora Beta app. It's playing music continuously now and the Roku Screensaver does not come on while the music is playing! :- )  ... View more

Yeah, without changing any settings it'll only play like barely 1 and a half songs and then stops. After the Roku screensaver comes on the 2nd song keeps playing for a little bit but then eventually stops playing (about a minute into the song). I disabled the Roku Screensaver in the settings and Pandora continues playing like usual now. Now I'm going to re-enable the Roku Screensaver, and set it to come on after 5 minutes instead of 1 minute and see what happens.  Nope. After the Roku screensaver came on after 5 minutes it killed the Pandora music again. There is definitely a problem with the app because the roku screensaver shouldn't take over the Pandora screensaver. It's only supposed to come on after inactivity and with the Pandora app playing music and running their own screensaver that should not trigger the roku screensaver to come on. Yes, I'm having the same problem. I logged out and removed the app. Unplugged power from my Roku Ultra, waited and then plugged it back in. Downloaded the App. Logged in and it still does the same thing 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I did notice that if I got Pandora to advance to the second song before the Roku Screensaver came on (just hit one of the arrow keys to go back from the Roku Screensaver to the Pandora app/ song playing) the normal Pandora Screensaver would come up while the second song was playing, but then Roku Screensaver would come back on again anyway.
