There appears to be much research on music models for music generation.  Applying Language Model Techniques to Compose AI Music | NVIDIA Technical Blog AudioLM: a Language Modeling Approach to Audio Generation – Google Research Blog (googleblog.com) Perhaps these large language model tokens could potentially be used to recomend similar songs too? Definitely interesting times for music enthusiasts.
