It would be a wonderful addition if we could limit the artist's music to certain years. Some bands completely change their music over the years and just are not the same, It's like they are different bands. Take Chicago for instance. If you liked their early music it is likely you'll hate everything after Chicago 5 when they changed to a pop band. I know better than to make that station. Right now I'm listening to a Genesis station. It's mostly not what I want, the grand large sound they had in the 70s with two drummers. I'll have to delete the station and there's no way to get the Genesis I want unless I can guess another band from that era that's similar enough. This would be something I'd be willing to pay for. Pandora's interface is much better, maybe the best. If you pick an artist to listen to there's four modes. 2 are: just artist, artist and similar music. I didn't see that option on Spotify. Shuffle artists is a pay option on Spotify too so you can't get random music. Spotify has music Pandora doesn't have. Want to listen to some Cactus (old obscure rock n roll) have to use Spotify.

That is a terrible workaround and a lot of work. Spotify works like that and it **ahem**. Pandora already has shuffle stations, call that group "main." Let paid members add named subgroups of their stations to shuffle. I would pay for that. Pandora already has the best interface for playing desired music. Add shuffle groups and stay number one while you collect more money. Don't delay, implement today.
