I have a couple of questions that may help us determine what's happening.
Are you currently logged into your wife's Pandora account on your Android device?
Also, do you share a Google Play Store account with her?
Please try signing out and signing back in by visiting your Pandora Settings. Click Account then Sign Out. Then sign back in with the email address of the Pandora account you used when you upgraded.
