Same issue here. For the record, I am still using the same devices as before the Skip-Forward & Back buttons were disabled... one day back in (around) December '24 they just stopped working. At that time, I had been a free account user for many years (perhaps 20), and since I was already tired of the commercials and the time limits on Premium Sessions, I decided to go ahead with upgrading to Premium service. I was HOPING that this upgrade would restore functionality to these now useless buttons... but to no avail, it did not. This disappointed prompted me to start looking into the Pandora Community posts on the subject... only to find that not only was a "solution" posted, but quite a few people have already tried and denounced this as NOT a solution at all. Not only does it not work but people had wasted a lot of time trying it and then having to rebuild their downloaded content for offline use. To that I say thanks but no thanks. (In other words ADAM, I'm not even going to try this pointless exercise.) Other than that, I have been pretty happy with the upgrade. While others are threatening to leave Pandora over this one issue, I will give them time to work out an actual solution. To date, Pandora has amassed a lot of data on my listening habits and the thought of throwing it all away to start again with another service seems a bit rash. In closing, I am a patient man but I have my limits. And since I know that Pandora will ask, I'm including the following information... Phone: • Model: Samsung S10e • Model number: SM-G970U • Carrier: T-Mobile • Android version: 12 • Build number: SP1A.210812.016.G970USQU91XE3 • Android Security Patch Level: 03/1/23 (Yes, this is the latest update for this phone) • Pandora version: 2501.1 Connected to both Wi-Fi and cellular data at different times with same results. ● Watch: Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Happy debugging -Bill

Some time ago I searched for an old song I hadn't heard in years. After playing it, AutoPlay kicked in and I listened to those old songs for the entire weekend. To their credit, Pandora's algorithms did a splendid job at selecting music I liked and I must have given thumbs up to at least 20 songs. Later that next week I went to my thumbs up playlist and it didn't appear that any of my new thumbs were on top. . . So where did they go? I did a Google search with the question "what happens to pandora thumbs while in auto play". I was directed to the following web page... https://community.pandora.com/t5/My-Collection/How-Thumbs-up-work-with-autoplay/td-p/13136 where moderator-Adam makes the statement... "If you thumb up a track on your AutoPlay station, it will be added to your My Thumbs Up playlist. So if you want to view the Thumbs Up ratings you've provided while on AutoPlay, you can check out your My Thumbs Up playlist". For the record, there is no station in my stations list named AutoPlay so I assume he's taking about the AutoPlay mode that occurs after completing a playlist. I then decided to conduct an experiment. • I noted that I currently had 1561 thumbs. • I then searched and played the same song as before to initiate another AutoPlay session from the same seed. • During this hour long session I gave thumbs up to 6 songs, encountered another 8 songs that already brandished my seal of approval, and allowed a handful of songs just play through. • I noted that I now had 1564 thumbs. • I also noted that there were 3 new songs on top of my thumbs-up playlist Okay, so Pandora's platform did some of the math but what happened to the 3 other thumbs I gave? For lack of an official term I'm calling these ORPHANED THUMBS. I'm fairly certain that they exist somewhere in Pandora's digital universe but to my eyes, they're simply not there. -Bill

The thumbed up songs playlists are nice features but they don't portray ones degree of favor for any particular song. Thumbs are rather binary in nature, a song has your thumbs up, or it doesn't. But if the platform were to track our use of the replay button, keeping a replay total for each song, for each user, and then making that list available to us in order of most replayed on top, this would make for a whole new method of rating our degree of favor for each song. I believe this could benefit both the users and the platform.

Clearly this is not a new idea. I have been wanting this feature on my android phone for some time now, primarily for the following reasons. . . I have found that a lot of my stations have been sounding more alike lately. There is a lot of bleed over from one station to another so when listening on Shuffle Mode and thumbing up tracks, I have no way of knowing where those thumbs go. Later on, when looking at my up-thumbs for a particular station I find myself thinking that <although I like the song, it doesn't belong on this particular station>. I don't want all my stations to sound the same so I need to know what station it's pulled from before deciding whether to give it my stamp of approval. Furthermore, a way to move orphaned thumbs to another station would then come in handy. Here's an idea for where to put it... While in Shuffle Mode, there aren't any station modes available anyway so you could put it where that dancing-lights-EQ-icon is.

Having a quick way to report bugs for a specific track would be good. One reoccurring issue for me is that sometimes a particular track plays at a rather different volume level. This can be hazardous to our hearing when using well sealed ear buds. Just one of many things this feature could be useful for.

The problem seems to have resolved itself. The best I can figure is that it was some sort of device glitch on my end. After a full reset the issue was gone. If by chance it returns and a reset doesn't work, or if repeated resets become necessary, I may contact you again. Thank you for your time. -Bill

I used to be able to edit my shuffle stations list without actually starting the shuffle. Now that doesn't work anymore.
