I actually found a workaround: I have my account connected to Alexa and it's voice controls Pandora pretty well. Stop, pause forward, back even my favorite SHUFFLE, all work. But the situation, when you have to use workaround is absolutely stinks. BTW, Alexa can also do SHUFFLE on all your library in Amazon, which is impossible to do any other way and is considered by many a reason to stick to Pandora. Food for thought ... View more

To developers, hey guys, we all are in a pickle for now. I tried to download the older versions of APK and for some time they seemed to run fine, but lately it looks like a problem appeared again - the grayed-out controls. So maybe it's the Android update thet kerps screwing is up? Another idea: since the problem seems to be happening maybe a few minutes after the first playing, could it be that the buffer is full and it causes the thing? Just thoughts   ... View more

This is a message to developers, actually. I think I had another copy of the app, running in the background. Don't know why and how did it happened, it shouldn't, I think. But if it did, that may be the bug. But in my experience, bugs like that aren't easy to catch. The first, running in the back, app could intersept commands and the visible one could be disabled. To me Pandora is the most convenient service (especially before latest major  interface changes) because I don't like people's advises. I find and collect my own music and before it was more convinient - I  turned it on and all my music was available right away. Pandora was the first that created a team-tagged music by parameters and for about 20 years that was and still is quite sufficient. But it's just a thought.  There is a bug in the system, please guys, fix it. To me it most often kicks in when I am trying to pause play. Since about November of last year, few minutes after start, controls stop responding. On the S23 screen or from any bluetooth. Have to close and re-open the app. Then it repeats itself. The phone is on autoupdate, so is an app, whatever the latest version is. Cleaned the memory and cash. Do not have the voice control activate, though. Have yet to check if Alexa can control it even if anything else doesn't. Could it be connected with permission settings? What, in general, could grey out and block controls? Tx ... View more
