That isn't a solution. it is a stall. it has been another two weeks since this thread started and a week since your last response (and pandora has known about it for over a month) @TannerPandora - and what is being done?

@TannerPandora What is being done? you keep asking for patience - how about you give us an update (with real info from engineering) to help us be patient.

This problem has officially gotten worse. The app used to throw the "no internet" error, but would still play (eventually - with errors between songs). Starting the last day or two, the app throws the "no internet" error and exits. Sometimes it even exits and forces me to re-login the next time I try to load. This is not progress. this is the opposite of progress.

We have given Pandora enough info to fix this. It is a problem the Pandora Roku app has with AT&T internet. From everything I am seeing in the forums, it occurs only on the roku and only with AT&T internet. If Pandora support needs access to an affected internet hookup, they are welcome to come to my house. I am also in Silicon Valley, like much of pandora is. I will even provide lunch. From some searching I did, it looks like Pandora has known about this problem for quite a while (I see reports back into October). Don't know why it is taking so long to fix this -- unless, of course, nobody is working on it. Maybe if you contact Pandora directly we can get Pandora to actually have someone to fix this? https://help.pandora.com/s/contactsupport?language=en_US

@path742 , @aquatic , @MLeann who is your ISP? We checked last week and most of us with this problem (in this thread) have AT&T. seems to be a problem in the interaction among the pandora app/Roku/AT&T.

I was talking with my network guy and he wondered whether this is somehow ISP related - i.e. that the pandora app does something odd that the ISP doesn't like. Might be worth a look. I am on ATT (through Sonic). How about @buffalohead, @tacobravo, @weedpeople, @RenoSkier, who are your ISPs?

Beta didn't help. Voice control app didn't help. Uninstalled and reinstalled all Pandora apps, didn't help. checked for updates and restarted roku, didn't help Rechecked the hardwired internet connection (by plugging cable into a laptop - works fine), didn't help. All other Roku apps (netflix, hulu, etc.) work fine (no "no connection" messages, no drops, etc.), so it is not the router or cable. I even had my Cisco certified network engineer check our entire internet setup - no issues. Symptoms continue - Pandora starts with "no internet connection", but when I click "OK" (or "enter" or whatever the button says), Pandora starts playing. Note this is the only Roku app that does this. Once it is playing, Pandora plays one or a few songs, then stops. often, instead of just stopping, it will throw an "unknown error" error, but when I click OK Pandora will start playing again. Pandora works on my phone and on my computer. My subscription is part of a family plan, but the problem seems to only affect my Roku (not anyone else on the plan who plays pandora through a roku).

Update: Here is info on my roku I have tried using the voice command - still stops every few songs. I downloaded the beta, no improvement. Roku is hardwired to my router, which is working fine.

I think I am having the (same?) similar problem on my Roku Ultra. On mine, upon start up,the pandora app pops up an error that says "not connected to the internet" (it is connected - and all other apps work). I click OK, and it starts playing. It plays a song or two, then stops. Sometimes it will throw an "unexpected error" message, but will resume when I click OK. This has been happening for a couple of weeks.
