I'm also having this issue on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A running Android 11.  I cleared all the caches you refer to, click install from Playstore.  It looks as though it's downloading,  but just goes back to the Install button.  Can you please come up with a better remedy then clearing cache in Playsore, because that's not working ... When I bought a new Galaxy tablet recently I sure was disappointed to find that you've eliminated this feature. Your alarm clock was always reliable and convenient to snooze or shut off. I'm not happy about using that Google clock because it doesn't work as well. It makes me wonder if I shouldn't hold on to my very old tablet just because I could set up the alarm once and be set.
