I've been using Pandora for years. After signing up for the 30-day trial of Pandora Plus, the menu button is no longer there. This is not about signing in and out. The menu button has many features, including the part that I was interested in which is being able to download and play stations offline.( the reason I wanted the 30 day trial) I did try all the solutions that were suggested which included signing off and signing back via profile, then settings.
