Just to confirm your setup, are you currently trying to use Pandora directly through the GMC infotainment system’s built-in Pandora integration?
If yes, unfortunately, support for Pandora on older GM infotainment systems is no longer available due to the vehicle software limitations you referenced in the GM bulletin.
As an alternative, I recommend connecting through Apple CarPlay, which may provide a better overall experience, or streaming Pandora through a standard Bluetooth connection instead.
