Profile photo doesn't update after connecting to Facebook

So I'm having the same issue with my Pandora pic changing after I just changed it on my fb account and have been waiting for a solid month and it's still the same...why?

I even tried force stopping the app and reselect the fb switch...still nothing.

Does anyone know how to update your profile photo on here? I'm already signed into pandora and facebook. It had my profile picture from about 5 years ago on here. It never sync'd up.

This is what I see on my end:

Please try signing out of Pandora on the web, and then sign back in again. Since signing out clears Pandora's local storage from your browser, this may help.

If there is no change, try rebooting your connection: 

1. Shut down your device completely;
2. Unplug your modem and router, wait one full minute, and then plug them back in;
3. Wait five more minutes to allow the modem and router to fully boot back up;
4. Turn your device back on and try Pandora again.

If Pandora still isn't working, could you check if you're able to connect to your network using another streaming service, such as YouTube?

You might also try connecting your device to an entirely different network, or using a different device on your current network, to see if your streaming improves.

My account is linked to Facebook, I just checked, but I do not have an avatar set in the community but see my picture in my pandora.com account settings. There's no avatar options in community settings either. What could the problem be?

Thanks so much for reporting this, and sorry for any inconvenience.

Let's try disconnecting and reconnecting the Facebook profile association with your Pandora account to see if this resolves your issue. In the meantime, I've removed your FB association so we can refresh the connection. Your profile photo should show up as your community avatar and photo on your Pandora profile.

To reconnect your Pandora account with Facebook from a mobile device:

1. Open Pandora and tap the Profile tab.
2. Press the Settings gear in the top right corner.
3. Select Privacy. 
4. Under Manage External Services, you can toggle the Facebook setting to On. You will be asked to authorize your connection. A confirmation message will pop up indicating that you have successfully connected your Pandora and Facebook accounts.

To reconnect your Pandora account to Facebook from a computer: 

Sign in to Pandora's website and click the icon (initial or picture) in the top right corner of the page.

1. Select Settings.
2. Select Account in the left hand menu.
3. Scroll down to Social.
4. Select Connect to the right of the Facebook option. A screen will pop up prompting you to sign into Facebook. Make sure to sign in with your Facebook account information (email address and Password), which may be different from your Pandora account.

I have followed the procedures you described and my pandora.com account is connected to Facebook. I do see my Facebook profile picture on pandora.com but not in the Community.  Here I just see the outline of a person, not a profile picture.

Can you let me know what day you reconnected your Facebook to Pandora? 

I've also enabled a trace on your account, I'd like to disconnect your connection from our end and have you reconnect while this trace is enabled. Would you mind?

I reconnected Facebook on May 17.  I would not mind if you disconnect me from Facebook. Does it matter whether I do it on Android or on my laptop? Does the web browser used matter? What if it the browser has a cookie and/or tracker blocker?

We did have a bug where the picture wasn't updating, however we believe this had been resolved.

I don't believe it should matter if you connect via a web browser or your Android. I've gone ahead and removed the Facebook connection to your Pandora account from my end. Can you go ahead and reconnect for me.

You know it would be SO much easier than doing all these suggestions for the past Two? years to just allowing to download a pic from our computers to the Pandora player or community. One simple step instead of waiting for someone to figure out how to fix it. Many of us are Paying subscribers, we should have this avaialable. It really should just be part of signing up to listen to Pandora. SPOTIFY has no problem doing it why does Pandora? 😞

Why does my profile picture only show in the web browser and not on Windows and the Windows application and an the community? Doesn't seem to show in the community either. What's wrong? It's 2022, this stuff should just work.
