So you don’t want to hear any songs about the incarnation, the virgin birth, and a savior has come except after thanksgiving on a Christian station? Please tell me this is a joke. lol

Pandora is a platform that is available for artist to make their music available on. It’s the artist and record companies who put their music on the platform. Pandora can’t just arbitrarily take someone’s music and make it available. So if you want a specific artist to place their music on Pandora, you would need to contact the artist and ask them to consider placing their music on Pandora.

I 100% understand, that’s why I constantly explain to people the ads are paying for them to listen for free. If someone is listening for free they should be thankful for the ads. I see a lot of complaints about ads on here, it makes no sense. Either be thankful for the ads or pay and never hear any. lol. If an ad played on the wrong station, I would be more focused on the fact the ad is paying for the free service vs if it’s on the right channel. lol

The ads are letting you listen for free, if you don’t like the ads there is a very simple solution, pay for a subscription and you will not hear any ads. People continue to complain about the ads that are literally paying for your ability to listen for free. People who listen for free should be thankful for every single ad even if you disagree with it.

They play the ads that people pay them to play. If you need to hear a Trump ad on Pandora, contact the Trump campaign and ask them to run ads on Pandora. While you are complaining about ads, it’s those ads that allow you to listen for free. So you may want to send a thank you to the Harris campaign. You also could pay for yourself to listen and then there would be no ads.

I think since it’s 2024, Pandora could at the very least offer the 320 kbps which Spotify offers. Spotify is still indicating that lossless is still coming at some point. 320 kbps is absolutely a reasonable expectation for a music streaming service in 2024.

Those ads are allowing you to listen for free. If you want Pandora to provide you a free option, you should be happy with whoever is paying them to allow you listen for free. If you want to avoid the ads you don’t like, pay for a subscription.

First, which Love Song channel are you referring to? You can easily share a link to the station in question so we can listen to hear what you are referring to. A station called Love Songs and not one love song played for an hour, is that based on how you define a love song? If you are bothered by the content of the lyrics of that one song because you feel it’s explicit, there are setting to prohibit explicit content. If you share if you are listening via a computer or phone etc, I can share how you can block explicit content.

Sirius XM owns Pandora, that fact makes this news headline absolutely confusing. SiriusXM to Launch Premium Podcast Subscription Through Apple Why wouldn’t you launch it on the Streaming service you own that includes podcasts? Here is more information: “SiriusXM is launching a premium podcast subscription offering through Apple Podcasts, as the audio company seeks to diversify revenue and grow their content listener base. Starting on August 5, the subscription offering called SiriusXM Podcasts+ will be available for $5.99 per month or $44.99 annually directly within Apple Podcast Subscribers will be able to enjoy SiriusXM podcast offerings with ad-free listening, exclusive bonus content, and early access to new episodes. At launch, the offering will include a select number of the platform’s most popular podcasts, with plans to expand further this year.” Since they decided to ignore Pandora for this, is this a sign they are done with Pandora?

I definitely agree most people either haven’t heard of Pandora or think it died 7 years ago, lol. However, Tidal dramatically dropped their price and is now the same as Pandora Premium.
