So you think Pandora employees are sitting around plotting on cutting hymns short? Have you considered it is the recording? Isn’t it more likely your issue is with the artist not Pandora cutting off songs early because they have something against hymns? It would be disrespectful if it happens to any artist because it isn’t fair to the original artist and their work, it has nothing to do with it being a hymn. If you give a list of the hymns this is occurring one and what you believe to be the original length of the recording, I can check the tracks with how they appear on any other streaming services.

Can you guys provide some type of specific information not just, the one with “mountains “ and “sailboats “ lol. You can post a link to the station you are referring to and maybe a more specific name for the station that is supposedly gone now. Very hard to provide much help without some specific information. A simple search for Easy Listening brings up the same Easy Listening station that has been around for a very long time.

I have been using the amazing WiiM ultra streamer to listen to Pandora and a number of other streaming services. If you are looking for a streaming device, I can’t recommend the WiiM ultra enough and Pandora works great with it and there are rumors that Sirius XM will be added in the future.

I think it would be accurate to say that Pandora has for the most part abandoned daily and weekly updated playlists. The focus now seems to be on the different stations. Since that is the reality, I think we should work to come up with a list of the best stations based on the following criteria. 1. New songs added frequently and consistently. 2. How quickly new music is added. For example, If a new song is released on Friday, it is added immediately not a week or two later. 3. Variety of music offered, not just the same 50-100 songs 4. Repeats are kept to the minimum. 5. The different modes available for the channel. 6. How well and closely the station stays true to the genre, theme, or mood of the station. I also think there should be some type of notification sent out when a station has new music added. So based on the criteria listed , what are the best channels?

Tap on I’m tired of this track for every single song by the artist you named. 3. Create a playlist and leave both artists you named off the playlist. 4. Stop listening to country music stations. lol

If you are hearing commercials it’s because you are using the free service, those commercials are paying for you to use the service for free. Get a subscription and all the commercials disappear. Also not sure why you are telling Pandora you are going back to Sirius, it’s the same company. It’s like telling McDonald's you are going back to McDonald's.

Pandora is a platform that is available for artist to make their music available on. It’s the artist and record companies who put their music on the platform. Pandora can’t just arbitrarily take someone’s music and make it available. So if you want a specific artist to place their music on Pandora, you would need to contact the artist and ask them to consider placing their music on Pandora.

I 100% understand, that’s why I constantly explain to people the ads are paying for them to listen for free. If someone is listening for free they should be thankful for the ads. I see a lot of complaints about ads on here, it makes no sense. Either be thankful for the ads or pay and never hear any. lol. If an ad played on the wrong station, I would be more focused on the fact the ad is paying for the free service vs if it’s on the right channel. lol

The ads are letting you listen for free, if you don’t like the ads there is a very simple solution, pay for a subscription and you will not hear any ads. People continue to complain about the ads that are literally paying for your ability to listen for free. People who listen for free should be thankful for every single ad even if you disagree with it.

They play the ads that people pay them to play. If you need to hear a Trump ad on Pandora, contact the Trump campaign and ask them to run ads on Pandora. While you are complaining about ads, it’s those ads that allow you to listen for free. So you may want to send a thank you to the Harris campaign. You also could pay for yourself to listen and then there would be no ads.

I think since it’s 2024, Pandora could at the very least offer the 320 kbps which Spotify offers. Spotify is still indicating that lossless is still coming at some point. 320 kbps is absolutely a reasonable expectation for a music streaming service in 2024.
