No information or resolution to this? It's incredibly aggravating. It happens to me when using the Android app (connection is phone data, not Wi-Fi), and it's not location dependent so has nothing to do with the strength of the data signal; It also happens when playing in a web browser on a laptop (have used with both a Wi-Fi connection and a wired ethernet connection). So it's not version or connection related.
Kind of tired of listening to a scratched CD in the 90s, you know?
Hi @stuck423 , welcome to the Pandora Community!
Can you tell me more about this? When this happens:
Additionally, please provide both your iOS and Pandora app versions:
In the meantime, if you haven't yet, please try the steps described here and let me know how it goes.
It's exactly like a skipping CD, as previously described. A break in the song's audio. I'm not sure how else to word that, since it's already been described in this thread. It's not skipping songs or stopping entirely, it's like the audio cuts out briefly before resuming. It happens when listening to stations, and during advertisements.
It happens when using a Bluetooth connection, and also without.
Again, as previously mentioned, I don't use iOS, I'm an android user. (I didn't even see that it was an iOS thread until after, I had wanted to point out that it was a larger problem than a single version.) The issue happens whether on a phone or laptop, using an app or a web browser - This is not dependent on app or system versions.
I am having the exact same issue when using Pandora on my Samsung A25. This happens whether I'm listening through my truck Bluetooth or when at the gym using my Bluetooth ear buds.
Do you have any other insight into the problem beyond a dry copy/paste asking for more (seemingly irrelevant) info? Is there another resource we could utilize?
I notice that there weren't any further responses to the OP, who did provide the requested system/app/version information, so I'm led to believe there's no fix to the known issue.
@JoeMoose @stuck423 I apologize for the delay in our reply, and thank you for clarifying you are using an Android device.
So that we can help look into this further, please provide your device model, Android OS, One UI (if on Samsung), and Pandora app versions:
I appreciate you working with me on this.
My phone is a Unihertz Tank2 and I'm using Android 14
Pandora states version 2509.1
I can't find anything similar to that other number you're requesting.
But it still happens when I'm using the web browser version of Pandora, without downloading, without using my phone. This is not a problem that is affected by phone models, app version, etc. No one seems able to even acknowledge that?
@stuck423 Thanks for providing that info.
I've passed this along to the appropriate parties for further investigation. We'll follow up with you if we need any additional details.
Thanks for your patience in the meantime!
