Android: Cannot connect to Sungale device

The only reason I have Pandora is so I can play it from my wifi receiver.  It is a Sungale.  Basically, Android.  I now get the error 'Cannot connect to Pandora.  Please check your network connection and try again.  The network is fine, other apps fine.  Its almost like Pandora is blocked or is blocking my access.  Pandora works fine if I go into the office and log in with my computer.

Anyone else having issues?  Perhaps it is the Sungale, perhaps not.

Hi all!

Thanks for visiting community!

Sungale devices use a version of Android OS on their devices. So, while Pandora doesn't directly support Sungale devices, the app should work reasonable well.

If you're having trouble with Pandora on your Sungale device, be sure that the Sungale OS and Pandora version's are up to date. The current version of Pandora (as of July 2025) is 2506.1.

If the OS and app versions are updated and you're still having trouble, I recommend reaching out to Sungale Support for specific troubleshooting steps for your device.

Hope this helps!

@gluckr Can you please send a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)

Thanks for working with me on this.

Yes, I have the same issue on my Sungale KWS433. The Pandora version is 6.6. I bought the new Sungale KWS433+ and Pandora works.

It appears the Sungale is unable to update to a newer version of Pandora
