The "Tune Your Station" options are missing in the Pandora app on my Android phone. These features are still touted in the "Editor's Choice" section on the Google Play Store and clearly mentioned as features of the app in the "About this app" section. These features are present when I access the same stations via the web on my desktop.
Hello @AlyssaPandora ,
In the process of taking screenshots of stations I found where these features are located. I believe they were previously accessed thought the menu that comes up when tapping the three vertical dots under the album art. No noticed the "My Station" button at the top of the screen, which I did not realize was a button. I just thought it was part of the art/layout on the screen. Tapping that button brings up the station options and they are usable.
Thanks for reaching out on this topic.
Hi there, @vandryn. 👋
Thanks for posting about this.
Could you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?
Is it missing on all of your stations?
If not, which stations are you noticing this with?
Let me know, and I can take a look for you. 🎧

Thanks for letting me know. Sounds like you were able to locate your modes, @vandryn.
Let us know if anything else pops up. Enjoy the tunes! 🎧
The station modes button is not currently available on the android app, at least not consistently. I did a Perplexity ai search and discovered that this is a problem since an update to either the android os or the Pandora app. When will this be fixed? I am on my trial month of Pandora Premium specifically to get a wider selection other than "Top Songs". If this can't be fixed, I will have to end my subscripion.
I was having this problem, and went to Pandora's support chatbot and I got an answer that seemed to work for me when I tried it. I was able to restore "Deep Cuts" to my favorite station again. Here are the directions the chatbot gave me for my android phone:
Clear Data for Pandora App:

Seems this wasn't a permanent fix. My stations have switched back to "Top Songs" and tapping the button does not do anything. I cleared the data again and re-logged in, but nothing changed.
Also, my stations no longer give me the option to skip, thumbs up or down either. Not sure what's going on.
@MusicMan220 Can you please send me a screenshot of what you're seeing?
(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)
Thanks for working with me on this.
I uploaded three screenshots for your reference. I'm not sure I did it right. If you didn't get them I can try again.
As you can see from the above images, the modes buttons and the thumbs up and down buttons are missing. They came back for a while and then disappeared again. At present, the stations will play just the list of songs I thumbed up, even though that thumbs up or down option is now missing. I love these songs but I like the "deep cuts" mode so I can get a variety of new songs, not just the ones I like. I don't want to hear the same songs over and over again.
About a month or so ago I did a support chat with someone on Pandora who took me through a list of possible fixes I had mostly already tried. I tried them again while he waited but they didn't work. He said he would send it on to a tech team. Shortly after that the missing buttons returned for a while. Now they're missing again. The above images are what I'm currently seeing.
I did an AI search about this issue, and apparently, this is a common issue with Android phones, which has not been addressed or fixed yet by Pandora.

@MusicMan220 To clarify, Pandora Modes will appear on the Now Playing screen when listening to one of your collected stations - not playlists.
In your screenshot above, it looks like you sent a screenshot of the Now Playing screen when listening to a playlist.
Can you please try listening to one of your collected stations (ex: Celtic Woman Radio), and send a screenshot if Modes are missing there as well?
Thanks again for working with us on this.
It seems I cannot upload these new images. When I click on the camera icon, it no longer gives me a button to browse my computer for images to upload. It gives me a menu of fields to fill out, titled "Source", "Image Description", "Dimensions". I was able to access a browse and upload option before. Would you give me directions again on how to upload an image?
I am not trying to engage a play list, but it seems when I open a station, it does that automatically now on my phone. When I went to the Celtic Woman station, underneath their name at the top, there is a button that says "top songs", but no other button. Clicking on the button just pauses or plays the song.
On my desktop computer in my browser, I have no such issues with Pandora.
Here are the extra photos you requested. I think I figured it out.

@MusicMan220 Thanks for sending that over.
To play the Celtic Woman Radio station, tap on the play button here:
Let me know how it goes.
Forgive the late response. Your suggestions helped me figure out how the service worked and I think I'm okay now. Pandora is simple and easy to use when accessed on a browser. Navigating the app is more complicated and a bit confusing to me. But with your help, I seem to have it figured out. Thanks again.
