Android: Multiple issues when using the app

Is anyone else having these problems? Not being able to pause skip or replay songs without restarting the app. The app just randomly shutting off. The app just randomly starts playing on restart of phone. I pay for this service and lately it been really upsetting me that it isn't working half the time.

If you haven't, please try the steps described here: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

If you tried and they didn't work, can you please let me know if this happens when using mobile data or if you are connected to Wi-Fi. 

Also if this is only happening on your phone or is it also happening on other devices as well?

Do you receive the Error code 3002 on both of the situations?

THIS usually happens on my phone and wheniy stars, it fails on wifi and mobile. It usually happens after a major update. The last te it happened I had to pretty much delete and reinstall the app and clear all data. This is annoying as it resets all of the offline stuff and when it happens multiple times, it reduces the experience.

I will give those troubleshooting steps a try. 

Error code 3002 only occurs when I try to skip, hit next, on songs regardless if using mobile data or wi-fi. It will give me that code then freeze up and make me close and re-open the app.

The connection issue while using the app through Android Audio on my car is primarily while using mobile data.

Hi @Drockhead , thanks for explaining, but I need you a bit more details of what's exactly happening.

  1. Are your play/pause/skip/relay buttons greyed out? Or are they unresponsive? 
  2. Are the songs skipping to the next before they end?
  3. Is your app closing whenever you try to play or pause a song? Or is it closing randomly?
  4. Does it start randomly playing? Do you restart your phone and Pandora starts playing without you opening the app?
  5. Do you see an error message?
