@rankin Sorry for the trouble you are having with that error message when listening on your Android device.

I've enabled a trace on your account to help us better understand what's happening.

For this trace to be useful, we'll need you to run through the following troubleshooting steps: Troubleshooting for Android Devices

Let me know if you continue to run into issues with this.

I am having the exact same issue. The app will not even load before crashing. I also have Android 7.1.1. I have tried all of the recommendations from Pandora and nothing has worked. I am very sad and frustrated.

I solved it by cancelling and using serious xm and Amazon prime music.

@rankin I definitely understand your frustration around the issues you've had with Pandora on your Galaxy Tab E.

We released a fix which we believe should resolve the problem you are having with the app stopping on your tablet. It looks like your device may still be running an older version of the Pandora app, so I'd like to have you try updating to the latest version available for your device.

Here's how to update the Pandora app:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.

  2. Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Tap Manage apps & device.

  4. Tap Manage, then scroll to Pandora.

  5. Tap Update if an update is available.

Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device before you're able to update an app.

Once you've updated Pandora, please try launching the app again and let me know if you're still seeing the "Pandora has stopped" message.

@Maranatha I took a look and do see that you currently have an active email support case open, and the agent assigned to your case has already responded. Please be sure to check your email inbox for their reply. If you don't see it, please check your spam or junk folders as well.

To help avoid any confusion or crossed communication between multiple agents and the community, I recommend continuing to work directly with the support agent through your existing email case.
