Release notes keep you informed about what’s changed in the Pandora app, whether it’s a new feature, a bug fix, or behind-the-scenes updates to help everything keep running smoothly. Our release schedule may vary depending on what we’re working on, but in general, a new update is published each month.
Steps to update:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Touch the menu icon in the upper left and select My apps & games.
- Apps with available updates are labeled Update.
- Choose any appropriate apps and tap Update.
Tip: In some cases, you may need to restart your device to update an app.
Minimum Android Requirement:
The latest version of Pandora for Android requires Android OS 7 or later to run properly. Not sure which OS version you're on? For some Android devices*, you can check by going to Settings > General > About device > Software updates > Check for update.
If you’re using a version of Android OS older than 7, we recommend updating your device to continue receiving the latest features and improvements. Devices running earlier versions may no longer be supported and could miss out on future app updates.

Public Android OS Beta
Please note that Pandora does not officially support Android public beta versions. While the app may work as expected in most cases, beta software can introduce instability or unexpected behavior. We appreciate your feedback and patience as we continue to refine the experience.
