Android: Why can't I share to Instagram Stories?

Seems like all of a sudden there's no option in the Share feature to share to Instagram Stories. Do I need to link something or how do I make this happen?

The option to share content to Instagram should still be available, as far as I'm aware.

Could you share a picture of what you're seeing? You can upload images directly here through a web or mobile browser. Unfortunately, images can't be posted through email.

Also, have you noticed this happening with specific types of content, such as Stations, Playlists, or Albums, or does it occur with anything you try to share?

In the meantime, let's take a look at what may be happening. I've enabled a trace on your account. I'd like to begin with clearing the app data and cache on your Android and resetting your connection with Pandora. 

Please note that the steps to clear the cache/data can be slightly different depending on your Android model and OS. If you have a Pixel, you can check out Google's help page for steps on how to clear space on your device.

1. Open your device Settings
2. Tap Apps
3. Scroll down to find Pandora
4. Select Storage
5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data.

When completed you will be signed out of Pandora, and will need to sign back in. As a Premium listener you may need to re-download some of your offline content again.

I've only just noticed it over the past couple of weeks when I went to share specific songs to my Instagram story. 

I have a screenshot of my sharing options, but I do not see a way to upload that into this conversation anywhere.

I'm going to report this to our Android teams for further review. In the meantime, I would go ahead and try the troubleshooting steps I mentioned when you have a chance. This will help rule out a few things on our end and create a new connection with Pandora.

I asked a colleague to test on their Android, and they see the same share options as you do. However, when they selected Instagram Messages, it took them to their Instagram Stories. 

Could you do me a favor and see if you have the same experience. Thanks!

Yes! I have the same experience, and I was successfully able to post on my story, that's a tricky glitch. Thank you for your help!
