Is anybody else's app not working? Keeps giving me repeated error code...I keep submitting reports, but no correction to the problem. Have tried resetting, uninstall/reinstall...Have to Force Close all the time....

Hey @wontonbomb

What exactly does the error message say?

Have you tried running through our basic and advanced troubleshooting steps for Android devices yet?

If not, I would recommend trying those. They can be in this article.

It doesn't say anything, just starts up and shuts down...then the Pandora keeps stopping window shows up and I can either get app info, close app, or send feedback...

I've sent feedback, I've stopped, I've force closed...still no resolution

@wontonbomb Thanks for those details.

In your original post, you mentioned "Keeps giving me repeated error code".

If you're still seeing that error code, please let me know what it says as this would be helpful to report over to our engineering team.

++

Could you please provide the following?

  • Model:
  • Carrier:
  • Android version (Settings > About Phone):
  • Build number (Settings > About Phone):
  • Android Security Patch Level, if noted on your device (Settings > About Phone):
  • Pandora version:
    • If you can open Pandora, go to Profile, then select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for the version number.
    • If you can't open Pandora: from Android Home screen > Android Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Find Pandora

Are you connected to Wi-Fi or 3G/4G when this issue occurs?

Let me know as I'd like to report this to our engineering team ASAP.

It's working again...not sure why uninstalling and reinstalling didn't solve the issue vice clearing memory...but that did the trick, thank you...Gotta redownload everything I did have before...

Thanks for letting me know, @wontonbomb!

Sounds like you're back to listening without any issues.

For downloading:

  • You can tap the icon with the arrow pointing downward. This can be found on station, album and playlist pages, or, to download a track, tap the three dots on the Now Playing screen. Keep in mind, this button will only appear for eligible tracks.

Feel free to let me know if you run into any additional trouble.

I have the exact same issue so I have to delete my memory and lose everything to correct this issue

Hi @Antroby2g clearing the app data is not the same as deleting memory. Sometimes old cache files get stuck and the steps mentioned by @AlyssaPandora from the help page is a way to clear them out.

On that note, however, after peforming those troubleshooting steps, Pandora Premium and Premium Family listeners may need to re-download some of their offline content. Pandora Plus users, however, should receive that offline content again automatically.

I hope that helps to explain. Let us know if you continue to have any problems. 🎧
