So if I tell Google to play Pandora, how does Pandora pick music? It does not appear to be the last played station, so is it picking a new station based on previous likes and music played?

Hi there, @Terminus30030. ๐
Thanks so much for your patience while I looked into this for you.
Using generic voice commands will default to your Thumbprint Radio or Shuffle Stations if Thumbprint Radio isn't available (or has been deleted). Otherwise, you can use more specific commands such as "Hey Google, play (artist station) on Pandora."
I hope this information is helpful. ๐ง

This is not always true. I recently linked my Pandora to Google, and when I tell Google to play Pandora it most certainly does *not* play my shuffle: it plays generic music that I would never listen to.

Hi @machineghost ๐
Thanks for reporting this issue and sorry to hear you've been having trouble using voice commands with Pandora.
Google is really interested in what's happening when your Google Home device doesn't understand your request or starts the wrong station.
As a result, they've asked us to refer listeners back to them when this happens.
Could you request that content from your Google Home again? Then, if your device still fails to launch Pandora correctly, file feedback with Google by saying "OK Google, file feedback."
This will send a diagnostic report to Google which will allow them to investigate what's going on.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes! ๐ง
