I kept having headphone issues on two different android devices. I blamed the headphones, but I tried other heads phones and they too had the problem. My Bluetooth kept connecting and disconnecting continuously every 3 seconds. It was unusable by and device. After playing around I found that the issue was caused by the Pandora android app. It seemed to corrupt my Bluetooth service and even doing a force stop on the app didn't help. I had to uninstall Pandora and factory reset my network and Bluetooth settings. If I later installed the Pandora app and use it again, the problem came back- my Bluetooth becomes unusable. I liked using the Pandora app, but now I'm forced to use Pandora through my android browser with the use-as-desktop setting turned on. This problem is seen on two completely different devices running different versions of android. Is there a fix coming for this problem?
@Lynn7531 Sorry for any trouble.
Thanks for sharing such a detailed description of what you’re experiencing — that definitely sounds frustrating, especially given that it’s happening across multiple devices.
To help us better understand and investigate this, could you provide a bit more detail about your setup?
Specifically:
The make and model of both Android devices affected
The Android OS versions on each device
The Pandora app version you were using when the issue occurred
Additionally, can you please provide more details around what you are experiencing?
Does the Bluetooth disconnect happen only when Pandora is installed, or only when it’s actively running or streaming
Does the issue start immediately after installing Pandora, or only after a certain action (e.g., starting playback, switching tracks, background playback)
We appreciate you taking the time to report it.
Yes!!!! I'm having the exact same issue!!!!

@VKnight Sorry to hear you are also experiencing this issue with bluetooth.
Can you please do me a favor and reply back with the information I asked in my message here?
Once that information is provided, I am happy to help look into this further.
Thank you for working with me on this.
Hello Adam,
I am having the exact same issue on my Lenovo Tablet -- my Samsung Flip 5 works just fine with the same headphones.
Requested information:
Lenovo Idea Tab - TB336FU
Software Version - Lenovo ZUI 17.0.10.457
Android Version - 15
Pandora - version 2601.1 (Android Tuner 26011022)
Bose Quiet Comfort Headphones - Software up to date
The headphones work fine with any other application on the tablet - Netflick, Amazon Video, Chrome - But when I launch Pandora after a few minutes the headphones will start disconnecting, reconnecting. I think if I am in offline mode (on an airplane) it is more immediate.
The issue happens if the music is playing or paused - I have tried various setting changes in Pandora (music quality etc) and no change in the behavior.
The same headphones, android version and current Pandora version on my Samsung Flip 5 cell phone - works as expected.
Let me know if I can provide any additional information.
Jack
